Altenew Craft Your Life Kits
Each month, Altenew releases a Craft Your Life kit. Each of these kits are amazing and jam packed with so much that it is hard to stop creating with them. There are four products in each kit: a gorgeous stamp set with sentiments, coordinating die and coloring stencil as well as an embossing folder. Since its initial release in July 2021, the Craft Your Life kit has been very popular.
Craft Your Life…Florescence
This month’s Craft Your Life kit is no exception. Florescence is a bouquet of beautiful blooms gathered to make someone’s day. Here I used the embossing folder along with detailed blending brushes to add color to the image.
Before embossing my paper, I inked up the side with the name with embossing ink. After I ran the folder and paper through my embossing machine, I sprinkled Platinum embossing powder over my card and heat set it. This gives the flowers a lovely outline of shine.
After the Platinum embossing powder was set, I used the Detail and Mini blending brushes to add color to the flowers, leaves and background. Colors I used are in the supplies list at the end of the post.
The final touch was a heat embossed sentiment from the stamp set and then a smattering of Antique Gold Sequins.
