Metallic Watercolor
Watercoloring stamped images
Altenew has an amazing metallic watercolor pan set which has 14 luscious colors. Although the metallic watercolors would look great on any cardstock, they really shine on black watercolor cardstock. Here I cut down a panel of black watercolor cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped the larger floral image and then a smaller floral image from the Hello Beautiful! Craft Your Life Kit using embossing ink and then Platinum crisp embossing powder. I then used the coloring stencil to help apply the watercolor to the images. I stamped the sentiment, Thank you, from the stamp set in Antique gold embossing powder. The final touch was three Antique Gold sequins. I love the shine on this card from the metallic watercolor.

Included with the Craft Your Life Hello Beautiful! Kit is a 3-D detailed embossing folder of a beautiful coordinating floral image. I wanted to use the metallic watercolor to color in this image. The coloring was very easy to do and the metallic shine is really beautiful.TO finish this card , I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of vellum using embossing and then Antique Gold embossing powder. The vellum allows the sentiment to stand out while the main image remains the focal point
