Hello crafty friends, welcome to another amazing Paint a Flower release. This month Altenew is releasing the Zinnia Magellan Rose. If you are hopping along with us you have just come from SathyaKala Sankaran and your next stop is Bridget Casey. Head over to the Altenew Card Blog to start over at the beginning of the hop and even more inspiration. Thanks for checking out my projects today.
Watercoloring FLOWERS
Zinnias are such happy flowers. This one was a joy to paint and very easy as well. Before painting the image, I embossed it and the sentiment onto a piece of Altenew Watercolor paper using Platinum embossing powder. To paint the image, I used the Artist Watercolor Set and the Artist Watercolor Brushes in #1 and #3 round. The colors I used were: Fall Harvest, Tea Party, Red Sunset, Summer Afternoon, Tropical Forest, and Green Meadows.
On the side of the card panel, I added a strip of Dazzling Diamond card stock. For some extra flair, I added three enamel dots in the Rock Collection.
The Paint A Flower is one of the subscriptions Altenew has each month. Check out the details on the Altenew Paint A Flower subscription page. You are able to preview the newest image and decide whether you would like to purchase it for a discount or if you would like to pause for that month.
Giveaway Prizes: $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners!
